Getting there

Flying out

Scheduled services operate from several airports in the UK to three airports in the region. Toulouse is about two hours by coach from the hotel at Asté, Biarritz a little further. The airport at Pau is about an hour's drive. Most airlines offer reduced prices for group bookings and reductions for flying on less popular days. To minimise overheads we have not applied for an Air Tour Operators Licence and so you will need to book and pay for the flights yourselves. By booking direct with the airline or through a travel agent you will be covered by their customer protection schemes. The airlines currently serving the western Pyrénées are:

Ryanair: Flights between Stansted and Biarritz or Pau from £50 per person return. Also flights direct from Dublin to Biarritz. See their website at www.ryanair.com.

flybe: Flights to Toulouse from Birmingham and Bristol and to Bordeaux from Southampton. See their website at www.flybe.com.

British Airways: Flights to Toulouse from London Gatwick. See their website at www.britishairways.com.

Air France: Flights to Toulouse from London Heathrow. See their website at www.airfrance.com/uk.

bmibaby: Flights to Toulouse from Manchester and to Bordeaux from Birmingham. See their website at www.bmibaby.com.

Easyjet: Flights to Toulouse from London Gatwick. See their website at www.easyjet.com.

Mancunia: Flights between Manchester and Lourdes which is about 45 minutes from the hotel. Quite expensive. See their website at www.pyreneesdirect.com.

AerLingus: Flights to Toulouse from Dublin. Internet www.flyaerlingus.com.

jet2.com: Flights to Toulouse from Manchester, Belfast & Leeds. Internet www.jet2.com.

Coming out by train

With early booking and group discounts, travelling out by rail is a realistic option for some. Eurostar operates between London Waterloo and Paris from where the high speed TGV service operated by SNCF runs direct to Tarbes - just 13 miles north of Bagnères. We can arrange for your group to be met at the railway station at Tarbes.
